About Engineered Flooring
Engineered flooring has a thin layer of the desired species of wood on top with a less expensive backing to make up the rest of the board. I have a picture below to show the difference from hardwood to engineered. This gives the desired look of the floor, without all of the costs and labor associated with a hardwood floor. In our showroom, we have hundreds of engineered flooring samples to look through with the option of taking some home to see what it looks like in your home before you buy.
